Share the Love

I made a quick Valentine collage to show what all was done, given, and received on that special day (better late than never, right?). I took a lot more pics than what is shown here, but I'm not able to take the time to go through all the pics, remember why I took the pics, edit each pic as needed, and then blog about each pic... I'm gettin' lazy in my old age... so I am now down to just picking a few pics, no editing, and putting them all in a collage and giving a brief summary of what the collage is about. This one, as stated above, is about Valentine's Day. The collage shows what each of us got that day, which was a lot, I must say. It also shows Caitie's class valentines. I hope y'all had a great Valentine's Day, just as we did! :)

  

   

   

Not-So-Super Weekend

We had a Not-So-Super Weekend, just as the Broncos did. ha We were for the Seahawks in the Super Bowl because 'hawk' is in their name. Other than our team (ha) winning, it was a bummer weekend. Both girls were sick, and Bailey is still sick. I took Caitie to the doctor on Friday to check for strep throat, which she doesn't have, it seems she just had a cold, and I took Bailey to the doctor today. She doesn't have strep throat either, but she most likely has the flu. Caitie is already doing better and was able to go on a class field trip today, but Bailey had a high fever this morning and is coughing quite a bit, and keeps saying she doesn't feel good. Poor thing.

Michael is having eye surgery (elective surgery) on Wednesday and has to take it easy post-surgery, which includes no coughing. We're hoping he doesn't get sick before, on, or just after his surgery. He's been doing his best to keep his distance from the girls in order to avoid the germs. Hopefully he'll be okay.

Here are the girls resting while watching Scooby-Doo. They love that show. They also watched some Wild Kratts shows; it's a funny and educational animal cartoon. This is what I let them do when they need to get rest while trying to get over bein' sick. They also played on their Samsung Tablets we Santa got them for Christmas. We sometimes do crafts and play cards and/or board games as well, so it's not all bad. :)
