On May 20th of this year, Caitie was officially a junior high (middle school) graduate! There was no ceremony or dance due to everyone being in quarantine. Her fourth quarter was done from home due to the quarantine as well. The school did celebrate their graduation by doing videos, a promotion one and a farewell one, and they sent the promotion program, which showed Caitie graduating with honors. She finished with all A's. She's had all A's since she first started school. She received the President's Award of Educational Excellence, of which she received a pin and a certificate signed by President Trump. She's in several gifted/honors classes next year. Her teachers tell me they love having her as a student and expect great things from her.This school year was her favorite so far, and she was quite upset when the last quarter had to be done from home. She missed being with her friends and being near "The B" (the crush). We're not sure what the next school year will bring due to the current situation, but I'm hoping Caitie does as well as she has so far and enjoys high school as much as she has her previous school years. :)
