It's Election Day

Did you vote?  Whether or not you voted, watch the video below.  It will give you something to do while waiting to see if your presidential candidate is close to winning or not.  It will either cheer you up if your candidate doesn't seem remotely close to winning, or make you laugh if your candidate is sure to win.  It's a win-win situation.  Don't you wish the election was like that?  Am I making sense here?  Anyhoo... just click on the 'play' button below, with the volume turned on, of course, and enjoy the video. Part Audrey, Part Gramps

I just did a post on Caitie and wanted to do one on Bailey as well.  Bailey did well in school too; she got on the Principal's List.  :)  Her teacher told me that Bailey reminded her so much of herself when she was young, and she really enjoyed having Bailey in her class this year.  I like to hear things like that about both my girls.

One side Bailey kept hidden from her teacher was her sarcastic and silly side.  She's quite the character...

Need I say show more?

Bailey keeps us laughin'.  She doesn't care how silly she looks, actually, the sillier she looks, the better.  ha  She's not an attention getter, she just does it on a whim.  She reminds me a lot of her gramps (my dad), she definitely has his personality.

Then there's Audrey, as in Audrey Hepburn...

She has a sense of style.

She will always be my stylish, sarcastic, silly and sweet 'wild child'.  :)

Congratulations, Caitie!

On May 20th of this year, Caitie was officially a junior high (middle school) graduate!  There was no ceremony or dance due to everyone being in quarantine.  Her fourth quarter was done from home due to the quarantine as well.  The school did celebrate their graduation by doing videos, a promotion one and a farewell one, and they sent the promotion program, which showed Caitie graduating with honors.  She finished with all A's.  She's had all A's since she first started school.  She received the President's Award of Educational Excellence, of which she received a pin and a certificate signed by President Trump.  She's in several gifted/honors classes next year.  Her teachers tell me they love having her as a student and expect great things from her.

This school year was her favorite so far, and she was quite upset when the last quarter had to be done from home.  She missed being with her friends and being near "The B" (the crush).  We're not sure what the next school year will bring due to the current situation, but I'm hoping Caitie does as well as she has so far and enjoys high school as much as she has her previous school years.  :)
