We went to Disneyland back at the end of May and the beginning of June; we went twice in a week's time. The first time was our annual Disneyland trip over Memorial Day weekend. The girls' grandpa (Michael's dad) came along on the first trip; it was his first visit to Disneyland since Michael was a toddler. We left on the girls' last day of school, which was a half day on Thursday, May 23rd, and stayed until the next Monday, the 27th, which was Memorial Day. The second trip was a few days after the first trip; we went back on the first weekend of June. I will share some pics from that trip in another Disney post.
The weather was wonderful this time! It was cool every day, and it rained one of the days we were there. I wish it could be like that every time, but it's usually sunny and warm.
I didn't take many pics, but here are a few I took with my smartphone, and since they are smartphone pics, they aren't of the best quality... (we went on other rides than what is shown here, but i didn't get pics due to it being too dark, or i just didn't think to take a pic)
I took this pic after picking the girls up on the last day of school, it was a half day. They were excited it was the last day of school, and excited to be heading to Disneyland. We headed out around 4pm to pick up their grandpa and then we were on our way to California.

Heading to California... we stopped for drinks and to stretch our legs...

Yay! Finally made it to the hotel; it was around 11:30pm.

The next day. I took a quick pic of Michael, the girls and their grandpa in front of the hotel sign.

Entering Disneyland...

Once inside, we decided to get a group pic. I took a quick pic while waiting for the Disney photographer to get everyone set up...

The group shot the Disney photographer took. We got pics from buying Max Pass, which let us reserve a time slot on certain rides so we wouldn't have to wait as long to get on rides. Some pics came with having Max Pass, and this was one of them. My hacking cough from having a cold pretty much drove most people in line away, so the Max Pass wasn't really necessary, but it was nice getting some Disney pics. ha Just kidding about coughing our way ahead in line, sort of... ahem... moving on now...

I believe my coughing helped in getting this horse pic. I think it was drawn to me thinking my coughing was actually neighing. I'm not sure what I neighed, but the horse turned my way and started coming towards me. I took a pic and moved on rather quickly. ha

We're on the Splash Mountain ride...

We all love the Splash Mountain ride. This is another pic that was included from having Max Pass. Since there were five of us, we got a "log" all to ourselves. It was Michael in front (and his cheesy smile... ha), the girls' grandpa (you can tell he's enjoying the ride), Bailey with her head down, Caitie (the one looking the most 'normal' out of all of us), and then me with my silly thumbs up sign... ha...

We're on the Jungle Cruise ride...

Love the fireworks...

Pic in front of Cinderella's Castle...

Pic of Caitie and her grandpa on the Dumbo ride...

Pic of Bailey sitting next to me on the Dumbo ride...

Pic of Michael behind us... I took a pic of him taking a pic of all of us in front of him... ha

Here is a pic Michael took of us on the Dumbo ride. Caitie and her grandpa are in front of me and Bailey on the ride. It's hard to see me, I blend into the dark background... ha

We went on the carousel... here is Bailey...

I couldn't resist getting this pic; see their grandpa's smile? :) This was one of his favorite rides...

Michael and his dad on the carousel...

Showing Caitie on the carousel as well...

Michael took a pic of his dad, me and Bailey on the carousel... (it seems i again blend into the dark background... ha)

Checking into the Blue Bayou Restaurant the next day...

Inside the Blue Bayou Restaurant. Expensive, but we did enjoy a good meal...

Caitie and her grandpa on the Buzz Lightyear Astro-Blasters ride...

Parade on Main Street...

Random flowers pic...

The next day we went to the other Disney park, California Adventure. We had lunch at the pier; this duck family joined us. So cute!

At Cars Land on the Mater's Junkyard Jamboree ride, or as I like to call it, the Tractor ride; much easier to remember... ha I got a quick pic of Michael, Bailey and her grandpa before the ride started; Caitie was with me in another tractor cart...

In front of a gift shop in Cars Land...

Getting ice cream in Cars Land. It was cold out, but everyone still wanted ice cream... ha

Looking at the rapids on the Grizzly River Run ride...

Bailey posing for me...

It was a cold, rainy day, and we all loved it!

Heading to the Radiator Springs Racers ride...

Here is another pic included from having Max Pass... It's from the Radiator Springs Racers ride. Bailey is in the driver's seat, Caitie is next to her, and then there's me, and in the back seat is Michael and the girls' grandpa...

The girls' grandpa holding Bailey's lion plushy while we ran inside the gift shop to find another animal plushy. That's a grandpa's job, right? :)
Eating a late dinner at IHOP on our last night there...

We had a wonderful time! And we went back just a few days later... that post will be coming soon.
