Dry heat in the desert, a few sprinkles at home

We took a mini road trip on Saturday. We ended up somewhere between Phoenix and Payson. Caitie wanted nothing to do with our first stop, which is unusual for her. But we tried to make the best of it. We thought the trip was over at this point, but decided to make another stop on our way home. This place was a hit. Caitie enjoyed playing with the rocks and ran around, spotted some cows, etc. It ended up being a pretty nice road trip.

Sunday was 'work/'play in the yard' day. Michael cut the grass and fixed a few bubblers that have been shooting straight up in the air like mini fountains for the past few months(shaking head as I think about the water bill). Caitie played with her new 'Dora' sprinkler. She loves running through the water and splashing in the puddles, of which I soon learned I had to enjoy too; she insisted I join her in the fun. That was a pretty scary sight; I'm not nearly as cute as Caitie is when all wet. ha She's a cutie in her new swimsuit.
