The Celebrity Apprentice, that is. What has this show come to? The boardroom 'shenanigans' have gone too far, in my opinion. I know it's good for ratings, but come on! Let me *bullet point my thoughts on it for you:* Defaming Khloe Kardashian for a mistake she made(not that i condone what she did, but we all make mistakes), of which she is taking responsibility for, and then firing her for a reason that has nothing to do with her performance on the job, was just wrong and in poor taste, in my opinion.
* Last night's firing of Melissa Rivers. This happened after 'note passing' from Trump to his guest judge at the last minute while in the boardroom. Ironically, Melissa had called how her two teammates treated her as "high school" behavior; I guess it carried over into the boardroom with Trump and his guest. The reason she got fired was wrong, in my opinion. It was big bucks versus hard work; the big bucks won, of course. Her mother, Joan Rivers, walking out was a nice touch, don't you think? ha I shouldn't take it lightly, I think her mother did the right thing, under the circumstances. Melissa was going ballistic after being fired, and I actually feared what she might do upon leaving the premises; at least with her mother leaving with her, she would be less likely to do something 'crazy'.

* Don't get me started on Dennis Rodman. His final boardroom appearance seemed more like an intervention than a firing session. I must admit, it was emotional.
Clint Black(with the exception of the episode six fiasco) has done well and is one of my faves on the show, along with Scott Hamilton. Scott was fired on episode three, I believe. He didn't have a chance with the cut-throat celebrities he had to deal with. I go back and forth with Joan and Melissa Rivers. Sometimes they're entertaining, other times they show the 'spoiled' side of celebrity. And then there's Jesse James. I did like him, but after he stabbed Clint in the back in last night's episode, any respect I had for him has all but disappeared(i'm sure if he knew this, he would be most upset). He was downright rude and mean. It was uncalled for, in my opinion.
Why do I keep watching, you ask, since I get so upset over the boardroom theatrics?
I'm waiting for a cat fight between the poker lady and the once upon a time playboy bunny; that should happen on next week's episode; there's no way I'm missin' that one(michael's looking more forward to this one than i am. i wonder why?). If you're not watching already, and want to tune in for the remaining episodes(why you wouldn't want to tune in, i haven't a clue), The Celebrity Apprentice airs on Sunday nights at 8pm PST, or you can watch them online at your leisure(there aren't many left). Be prepared for an adrenaline rush... seriously; the boardroom can be brutal. By the way, all winnings on the show go to the winning celebrity's charity, so it's not all bad.

Even though we DVR it, we usually end up watching it via the Internet on the big screen in the living room, which is now known as the movie room(pics coming soon). There's only one commercial at each break instead of several, and it doesn't last long, this means less interruption, which is nice. We usually watch two or three episodes at a time; we think it's more fun that way.
Depending on how it goes in next week's episode, you may see a post titled 'Dump the Trump'. You will now know what I'm talkin' about. ha
