Caitie's had a busy summer so far...
She's going to Summer Camp; she attends three days a week. There are crafts, games, field trips, playtime, etc. Caitie enjoys playing with the kids in her group.
She's also taking swimming lessons. She goes four days a week for a few weeks. I made sure to sign her up for the morning lessons so she's not out in the sun during the hottest part of the day. There are different stages... she's taken stage 1 already, which is for beginners, she is now in stage 2, and will be taking stage 2 again since she's still a bit nervous around deep water. Each group is allowed up to eight kids. There's a designated area for parents to sit, so I'm not able to get close-up pics, but I do take pics... here are a few... Caitie's the one wearing the pink rash guard suit; she wears a one-piece swimsuit underneath. I also put sunscreen on her face, ears, and neck. Gotta keep the blue-eyed blonde, fair skinned beauty safe in the sun. :)

Caitie's also taking tumbling. She's learning cartwheels, handstands, etc. There's a small viewing window, which is where I try and take pics; the pics aren't the best quality due to being taken through a window... there's a reflection and the lighting isn't all that great, etc., but I thought I would share a few of them anyway...

Not sure if she was starting to do a cartwheel and decided to do a handstand instead, or what. ha :)

They love to play in nature... with water, rocks, plants, dirt, mud, etc.
And then there's the library... they love to play in the children's area and check out dvd's and books.
Caitie's learning to fish. She can't sit still long enough to really get into it, but she is trying. More about this fishing trip in another post. (we were at woods canyon lake)
And that's how Caitie's summer is goin' so far... :)
