Little Red Dress

I took some pics of Bailey wearing a little red dress I had when I was a toddler. I found a pic of me wearing it many, many, many... ahem... many years ago and wanted to dress Bailey the same as I was dressed in the old pic, so I dressed her in red tights and black dress shoes, just as I wore in the old pic. I haven't been able to find the old pic for a comparison, I'm not sure what I did with it, but here are the pics of Bailey in the little red dress. I got pics of Caitie in the little red dress as well, back in 2007; you can see a few of the pics in 'scrapbook form' at PBase, click here.

You can't really tell in these pics, but the dress was a bit tight on Bailey. I had to leave a couple of the buttons undone on the back of the dress.

When Bailey would twirl, Caitie heard jingling... she asked what was making the jingling sound... I told her the dress has bells on it. She looked at the skirt and saw little bells... she thought that was ingenious. She loved it. She is now thinking about adding bells to her clothes. ha :)

Red must have been a popular color back in the '60s... their daddy's baby outfit I took pics of them in is red just as my toddler dress is red. Interesting... or not. um, yeah...
