Red/White Gingham and Chocolate

This is all I needed for Mother's Day... a red/white gingham bow tied around four big chocolate bars; this was Caitie's handiwork. Gotta love her.

But I also got beautiful flowers... one of my favorites is Tulips... love 'em. I got other nice things as well... a homemade bracelet from Caitie, and a really cute marigold and grass plant she made at school, a new cell phone from Michael, etc. It was a nice Mother's Day. I usually put a blog post on here for Mother's Day, but I was busy all day so wasn't able to get to it this year. But just so all mothers out there know... I do wish you all a Happy Mother's Day, which should be celebrated every day. Mostly because I would love to get more red/white gingham wrapped chocolate candy bars. ummm, yeah...

Guess who lost her first tooth recently? I took this pic yesterday... See that little gap there in the middle, bottom row of teeth? It was a tiny tooth! The tooth that replaces it has already grown in, way behind it; it looks like Caitie will be visiting the orthodontist sometime in the future. She was soooo excited for the tooth fairy to come, of which she did, leaving her a cute felt pocket (made by moi) with a tiny note from the fairy and a five dollar bill. It seems the rates have gone up on baby teeth. Oh, and... Bailey wanted no part of this pic... she's really into the 'terrible two' stage right now. ugh...

That's it for now... there is more to blog about, but I'm not organized at all, and I have a lousy memory, so I don't know when those things will be blogged about, but stay tuned...
