A Happy Mama

Can you see why? Who wouldn't love to have fresh donuts for breakfast, especially on Mother's Day? As you can see here, Caitie claimed the chocolate sprinkle donut right away. I chose the glazed donut, and part of the powdered donut, and part of the jelly-filled donut, and... well, you get the idea. Michael was left with half a chocolate donut and a few crumbs, I believe. He did pretty well considering a pregnant woman and a four-year-old beat him to the donut box. If it will make you feel any better, after giving it some thought, I think I passed on the jelly-filled donut, so Michael may have had a chance of getting a taste of that one... a small chance, but a chance, nevertheless.

And what a treat this was. I love it; I plan on framing it. Caitie made this for me on a children's computer program she plays around with.

We went to the same place where I took pics of Caitie in the field of yellow flowers; we were at the Sunset Point rest stop area. But this time the yellow flowers were no more, there was mostly green where all the yellow had been, so I didn't get anymore pics of Caitie in the field of yellow flowers, but I did get some pics at the rest stop area. Here are a few...

A sweet pic of Caitie with her daddy.

A pic of Caitie in the remaining sunlight.

Her curls are no more; it was quite windy, which took the curls out of her hair.

I got a pic of the sunset before leaving Sunset Point.

I took this pic last night... I didn't want to forget to show the other stuff I got for Mother's Day. Beautiful flowers, a ring, a card, and a cute little bear... oh, and of course the yummy donuts. I love them all, as well as the 'card' Caitie made for me, which you saw in a pic above.

I wanted to include the two pics below, courtesy of Caitie and her daddy...

Caitie took the first one. She's quite the photographer. You should see her holding my Canon 40D camera. It's not a lightweight camera, and her being able to hold it and take a decent pic is saying something. She took a pic of me in her bedroom. I'm still not giving too much away when it comes to her bedroom. I'll reveal the new look soon, by the way.

Michael took this pic of me and Caitie at Sunset Point.

Thanks, guys, for a nice Mother's Day. :)
