Happy (belated) Easter

Caitie has had two colds in the last two months, and an ear infection to boot. Michael came down with a cold a couple of days after Caitie, then Bailey came down with it a few days after Michael; I thought I had escaped it, but I now have it. It's been a blah, icky almost two weeks. So everyone was feeling a bit under the weather on Easter. But we did make a lemon cake, which I will post about soon, colored Easter eggs, had a visit from the Easter Bunny, hunted for Easter eggs, the edible ones, and some plastic candy-filled ones as well, and had ham sandwiches with the beautiful colored Easter eggs, and I, of course, took pics of my two gals in their Easter dresses. The weather couldn't have been more beautiful... slightly overcast, cool with a nice breeze, which made the Easter photoshoot a pleasant experience. So it turned out to be a nice day even if we all felt icky and blah.

Here is Caitie egg hunting in the backyard. She's in her pj's, her disney train hat, and winter slippers... not so cohesive, but she was cute and comfortable.





As I mentioned above, I did an Easter photoshoot of my two girls. I wanted to take pics similar to the ones I took of Caitie on her first Easter photoshoot, which was when I first started getting into photography and doing photoshoots. That was way back in April of 2006. I used the same quilt in these pics, and I even took these pics in the same place I took the ones of Caitie back in 2006. Most of the pics below are of Bailey. As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm trying to limit the pics I take of Caitie; she's in a few pics, but these are mostly of Bailey. They came out pretty good considering both Caitie and Bailey have colds.

























This is a cute pic of Bailey with a silly expression, but the main reason I included this pic was because you can see Bailey's two bottom teeth; they'll be coming in soon. You can see them outlined in her gums.
