I was playing with Caitie's hair one day and this is what I came up with. I like how it turned out. No hairband was needed, her hair was used to keep it together... Okay, okay... so I used a bobby pin to help keep it in place.

Here's the front view. Her face shows more, which I like. I tried this hairstyle before getting her hair cut a couple of weeks later (see below). Maybe I should have done something with her doll's hair? ha

I made a last minute appointment for the girls to get their hair cut at the J.C. Penney salon the weekend before Caitie went back to school last August (2014). We were at the mall for an eye appointment for Michael and decided to go after that; the salon was just around the corner.
Caitie's daddy was teasing her about something, I forget what now, it's been almost a year, after all, but it was pretty funny, obviously... to him, anyway. As you can see in the mirror, he has a big grin on his face, but Caitie looks a bit peeved. ha. :)

Bailey was up next. This was her first haircut at a salon... actually, it was her first haircut ever. She did really well.

Gotta love the mirror pics. This one shows the hairdresser, Bailey, Caitie, and me with my camera taking the pic (as usual. ha). Michael was to the side of us.

Getting bangs.

The girls with the hairdresser. She was very nice and the girls liked her.
