Holidays from the past

From 2014 and 2015, that is...

Here are some pics from holidays in the fall of 2014 through the spring of 2015. Better late than never, I guess. Keep in mind these pics are from about a year to a year and a half ago, the girls have grown some since then.

Halloween of 2014...

We went to the Foothills Aquatic Center Halloween event again. The girls wore cheerleader costumes.

Caitie made a ghost at a craft table.

Bailey is playing a game in the game, bouncy house, dance area. Caitie is waiting her turn.

The girls rode together on the train ride offered by the Fire Department. Fun was had by all.

Their daddy put together the Jack-Man again. The girls love him.

The girls and their daddy carvin' pumpkins.

They chose to do a traditional face and a kitty face. Both turned out really cute.

The girls are looking in the jack-o-lanterns.

The girls on Halloween night, all dressed to go trick-or-treating around the neighborhood. Caitie's Journey Girl Doll had a similar cheer outfit.

Stopping by their grandparents' house.

At a house getting candy. A cute little boy was handing it out.

All their sweet 'loot'.

We went to IHOP after trick-or-treating to have even more sweet treats.

Next up was Thanksgiving of 2014... we went to their Uncle David's house as we usually do on Thanksgiving. I didn't take many pics, but here are a couple...

The girls riding in their friend Josh's red car in the backyard.

The girls took a short ride with their Uncle David on his Harley. They loved it. Bailey wanted to go again.

On to Christmas of 2014...

I did the usual 'elf on the shelf' thing again by using the usual doll, Jasmine. It's getting harder to think of interesting places to put her to make it a bit different from the year before. Here she is again at the top of Caitie's personal Christmas tree she puts in her room.

I took some Christmas pics of the girls in front of the Christmas tree...

...and took some pics in this location as well. There's better lighting in this location.

The girls opening their gifts from Santa on Christmas morning.

Bailey petting Bella, a pretty kitty, at her grandparents' house on Christmas Day. I didn't get many pics, but we were all there.

Now it's time to go into 2015... the best place to start is with New Year's Eve of 2014...

We took a short road trip to see some snow, and then went to see a movie that night...

See how cold it was... 40 degrees... brrr... Michael was using one of his Christmas gifts to record while on the road. It's a GoPro camera. That's what's hanging below the rear view mirror.

Taking a break while on the road.

The girls posing outside the movie theater... still eating popcorn. I forget what we saw that night. It has been a while. ha

Time to show some love... Valentine's Day 2015...

We all did the usual... the girls and I got lots of chocolate and other sweets, along with plush animals, etc. The girls and I made their daddy a couple of things as well. I didn't take many pics, but here are a couple...

The girls with their daddy and some cards we got him, and one of the crafts we made for him... a pic of them in a frame we made to put it in.

I took a pic of the girls together.

Next up was St. Patrick's Day 2015...

We made a trap to try and trap the leprechaun. The girls posing with it before heading to bed.

The next morning... the leprechaun somehow managed to get away and build a heart out of the girls' Magformers and left them some treats...

Then came Easter 2015...

Easter Sunday came at the end of Caitie's spring break from school, so on that weekend we headed up to our property, but got back just in time to do Easter egg coloring before heading to bed... really late! Which meant I was up most of the night, what there was left of it anyway, putting their Easter baskets together, thinking of hints for their 'Easter baskets hunt' the next morning, and hiding the plastic eggs out back, etc.

The girls coloring Easter eggs before heading to bed.

The girls hunting for the plastic Easter eggs the next morning in the backyard.

Looking inside the plastic eggs.

I took some Easter pics of the girls later that day.

We went to Dairy Queen late that afternoon. It was yummy! Bailey wanted Caitie to try her tasty treat.

And that's it for holiday pics from the fall of 2014 through the spring of 2015.

I hope all I wrote above makes sense... I did it in a hurry. I was getting tired of being so far behind on blog posts.

I hope to get travel pics from around the same time frame up soon...

(see below for the 'happy friday :)' post)
