The Friendly Hiker

Caitie loves to spend time at a mountain park near our house. It has hiking trails with nice views of the surrounding area; it also has picnic tables, some covered, some not. There's a horse training facility nearby, so every once in a while a horse and rider can be seen on the trails, which Caitie loves. A lot of people go there to walk their dogs. Caitie gets excited every time she spots a dog; you always know when she's spotted one, she shrieks with delight, and then gives her imitation of a dog: "woof, woof". We like to go there to relax and have a picnic, then hike a bit, and take some pictures. Caitie doesn't sit still long enough to eat though, so we're usually on a trail two to five minutes after we get there. So much for relaxation. ha
