Welcome to our humble abode

Caitie and I were headed out for a stroll around the neighborhood the other day when it occurred to me that I hadn't taken a pic of the house in a long time. So I got my camera, moved Caitie to the driveway, and went across the street to take a pic or two of the house. It was pretty bright out, as you can see, and I forgot to close the right garage door(we leave it slightly open to air out the garage), so it's not the best pic.

We had the shutters and the front door painted back in October; the paint had faded some over the years. We also had the house powerwashed, which kept us from having to paint it... for now; it will probably need a coat or two of paint in the near future. We did this with the intention of putting the house on the market, but we never did. Long story...

This pic was taken before we headed out for our stroll. Caitie put my headband on all by herself and couldn't wait to show me. Cute, huh? :)



"Welcome to our planet, errr, I mean our home." (you must admit, this pic does make you think of something 'alien'. ha) We're heading out for our stroll around the neighborhood.



We're trying to decide whether to trim some of the tree branches near the two windows on the left side of the house, which are the windows in Caitie's room. It would look better on the outside, but would take away from the nice view on the inside. It's nice seeing green leaves just outside those windows. I think Caitie would miss that.
