The 'not so sophisticated' look. All I did was twist her longer strands of hair around a time or two and stick a barrette in to help hold them back while I trimmed her bangs. I decided to leave it that way since it held so well. The one time I didn't care whether the barrette stayed in or not, and she doesn't try to take it out. Oh the irony.
Cute socks, eh? She got them as a gift a couple of years ago; they've been in her drawer ever since. She's been wanting to wear them for a while now, so I finally gave in and let her wear them today. I was hoping to find a cute outfit that would go with them, but no such luck. I declared them her 'fun socks', to be worn for fun and play around the house; she was all for it.
