Windy Wednesday

Where are we, Chicago? What's with all the wind? Yeah, yeah, I know, it's that time of year... I can finally tell Michael to go fly a kite and actually mean it. ha We got a kite the other night at Fry's Electronics, of all places. We have yet to cast it to the wind. We're known for procrastinating, so we probably won't try and fly the kite until it's 110 degrees out with no air movement of any kind. If you happen to see a family of three trying to fly a kite in a field near you, in the middle of summer, you can pretty much bet it's us.

Taking an after-lunch nap seriously; she didn't even leave the table.

Ever heard the saying "when pigs fly"? Well, believe it, at least as far as pigtails go; these pigtails were ready to take off. The wind was doing a number on her hair.

"Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water..."

That's what you put when you have no other caption in mind.

She's actually posing for me. I'm speechless.

"Are you pullin'?"

"ummm, No, I ain't pullin', I thought you were pullin'."

Two of the three stooges in action; the third one is behind the little black box. ha

This is the norm around our house. I'm next in line after Caitie.
