Domestic Bliss Part 2

This is the follow-up from my morning post...

Today was cleaning and do the bills day. But after the way the day started, I decided to forgo those ghastly tasks and... ummm... what's a good way of putting it... well, I goofed off; yeah, that's it. I neglected my household chores and got down and dirty with my two-year-old, literally. I got down on the floor and rolled back and forth, of which I now know wasn't such a good idea(my poor, aching back), and ran through the sprinkler, and jumped in puddles. We also played 'chase', which is one of her all-time favorite things to do these days. I probably got more of a work-out playing than I would have working around the house. I did get around to doing one load of laundry, which we ended up making into a game. Caitie likes to throw the items to be washed over the stair railing; I make this into a 'counting game'. I ask her to count the items being thrown over. She's getting the laundry to where it needs to be, and learning to count as well. It's a win-win situation. I'll have to make up for neglecting my other duties for today, but it's well worth it because of the quality time I got to spend with my sweet, baby girl(yes, she's still my baby), and that's what it's all about, right? Yep, that's what it's all about...

The outfit she's wearing reminds me of the Wonder Bread packaging. Not the same colors, but similar design. She wore this instead of her swimsuit when running through the sprinkler; her swimsuit has disappeared into the mysterious black hole we have at our house. Do you have one of those?
