No-Make Chocolate Cream Chocolate Chip Pie

Just in time, but don't want to make, for Valentine's Day.

Here's what you don't need:

No 10 inch Keebler Ready Crust Graham Cracker Pie Shell
Not two 4-serving size packages of chocolate flavor instant pudding and pie filling
Not 1-1/4 cups of milk

No 8 ounce tub of Cool Whip
No chocolate chips

This is the reason for this post: My cute assistant. Love her apron.

Here's what you don't do:

You don't beat together in a large bowl with a wire whisk the 1-1/4 cups of milk and both packages of chocolate pudding mix. Don't mix for one minute. Don't whisk in half the tub of Cool Whip to the pudding mix.

Don't add chocolate chips to the bottom of the pie shell.

Don't carefully spread the pie filling on top of the chocolate chips in the pie shell.

Don't spread the remaining Cool Whip over the top of the pie filling. Don't sprinkle the chocolate chips on top of the pie filling as garnish. Don't serve immediately and don't refrigerate until ready to serve.

Don't sit before the pie with great expectation.

Don't cut a piece of pie.

And whatever you do... DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT EAT the No-Make Chocolate Chip Pie.

You won't be thanking me for this No-Make Chocolate Cream Chocolate Chip Pie Recipe.

Recipe Rating: There is no rating, this pie was never made. This was all a dream...

"Keeping it real", or is it "Keeping them honest"?(watch anderson cooper 360? one of those is his slogan. what does that have to do with this post, you ask? you did ask, right? i haven't a clue; i thought i'd throw in some useless trivia for ya). Now that I made your day, I'll get to the truth of the no-make pie. Why does Jack Nicholson come to mind? hmmm... Confused yet? Me too; let's move on. I was in the baking mood and this easy pie recipe struck my fancy. It was easy to make and didn't take much time at all. But it ended up being pretty bland. If you do decide to make it, you might want to skip adding the Cool Whip to the pie filling, and just add a dollop to a slice of pie if desired. Also, don't put chocolate chips on the bottom of the pie shell. That was my idea, which says a lot. But adding them as a garnish on top is OK; it looked kinda purty, don't ya think? I got the recipe off the back of the Keebler Ready Crust Graham Cracker Pie Shell, which is actually called '5 Minute - Double Layer Chocolate Pie'.
