I got out my handy little Flip Video Recorder when I started making the pancake batter. You can see it in the first pic below; it's the little white thing sittin' on the table aimed at Caitie. You can see that it's on and recording. It's interesting how things go when you're being recorded(you can hear me talking in the background). You start saying something, then realize it doesn't sound so good, and try to figure out how to recover from it while being recorded; it's not so easy, trust me. I don't know how Jon & Kate + 8 do it... I wouldn't last a half hour on reality TV. Caitie isn't too crazy about being recorded either, but she didn't seem to mind so much today. When she sees the recorder in my hand, she usually clams up.

I took this pic while the Flip Video Recorder was going. You'll hear me asking her to smile, but as you can see, she's not too thrilled with having her pic taken. She usually doesn't like being recorded either, but she didn't seem to mind today.

The pancakes were done on the stovetop instead of the grill. They still tasted the same. ha

Caitie didn't care how they were cooked, just as long as they had tons of syrup on 'em. That girl loves her maple syrup.

This video clip is rather lengthy, it includes Caitie helping me make pancakes, and a funny part where she's left alone for a couple of minutes with the Flip Recorder still running; I haven't a clue what she's talking about, but the way she says it is cute. The funny part is when I come back and ask her what she said to the camera while I was away, it didn't match up with what she actually said. If only she understood how video recorders work. ha If you don't want to watch the whole video, be sure and watch this part. Just move the video scrollbar to the 4:43 time mark and let it play until the 6:40 time mark to see this part of the video. She also plays her drums and the piano. I'm not happy with the quality of this video, it has a blue cast and looks washed out, and our voices break up at times, but wanted to share it with you anyway.
Michael Update: Our patient is feeling much better. Caitie and I make a good doctor/nurse team, respectively. :)
