Park Pals

I've been taking Caitie to some parks lately(the pics in this post are from March 5 & 6). The weather has been beautiful and Caitie loves to be outdoors. She's made some friends while at the playground. She isn't shy, she goes right up to kids and asks them to play, which they usually oblige since she's so cute. ha :) Below are pics of her playing at two of the parks:

Playing at our favorite park - March 6th.

Caitie has a boyfriend... Caitie has a boyfriend... well, not really, but she did meet a cute little boy about her age at the park a couple of weeks ago. They had a lot of fun together. At one point she told me "That's my kid over there", pointing at the little boy as she went back to chasing him; this is a game they called 'catch me if you can'. When she really likes a kid she's playing with, she calls them 'her kid'. It's both cute and funny to hear her say that. She was upset when the little boy, named Dustin, and his father had to leave. Dustin's dad had a hard time getting him to leave, he wanted to stay and play with Caitie. The park can somtimes be a form of frustration for parents with toddlers. ha The father and his son have good taste... his son taking an interest in Caitie is one reason, and the father driving the same exact SUV as mine is the other reason. It was a Yukon the same model as mine and the same color; they were identical, except his looked clean, mine needs a washing. I don't feel comfortable taking pics of other parents' kids, but I did get a couple of pics of Caitie and Dustin playing together. The first few pics are of Caitie climbing, sliding and swinging before Dustin arrived.

Playing at the newfound park - March 5th.

Caitie played with a girl at least twice her age, but she had a good time. The girl was a bit wild, climbing on anything stationary and moving, such as the swing, and hanging upside down, etc., I wasn't sure if Caitie would try and imitate her every move, but Caitie knows her limits and didn't try anything too daring.
