~ Take Me Out to the Playground ~
Take me out to the playground,
Take me out to the swings.
Down the slide we go hand in hand,
I don't care if my butt lands in the sand.
Let me run, run, run away from you,
I'll then ride my trike all around.
For it's one, two, three cries, you're out,
At the old playground.
What do you think? Don't answer that.
Here are a few park pics...
Here is Caitie running off... I yelled: "Get back here this instant, you little poopie..."

If you want your child to mind you and not be argumentative about it, just yell out "you little poopie" at the end of your request, it works every time. This works really well when around other kids. I guess it's a tad embarrassing to be referred to as "little poopie" in front of your peers. Here she is hightailing it back to me.

They don't have big kid swings at this park, so Caitie gets on the toddler swings. A little girl that wasn't much bigger than Caitie wanted to get on the other toddler swing, but her dad said no and told her that it was too small, and said only babies use them. I have a tall baby.

There are mean kids out there, folks, Caitie ran into some while at the playground. Two brothers, about the same age as Caitie, wouldn't let her get on this curvy slide, but what they didn't realize at the time was that she comes with a big, impatient, scary lookin' mama; it wasn't long before she was goin' down the curvy slide.

She likes to ride her trike at the park. I think it's time for a bike with training wheels, she's outgrowing this itty-bitty trike, but I just can't bring myself to make the change... hmmm... She's too big for the toddler swings, and too big for her trike... maybe I'm in denial of my baby growing up.
