This little bunny was brave and ventured out on Halloween night; she wanted to gather up some tasty treats... She went hopping door to door saying "Trick or Treat, do you have any carrots to eat?" And would give a sigh when only a piece of candy would be thrown into her jack-o'-lantern pail. Even though she became discouraged, she continued hopping to the next house, then the next, and so on... She ran into some scary creatures on the way, and would just stop and stare and then hop on to the next house that said "Beware"... She ended up with a pail of chocolate aplenty, but nary a carrot... poor bunny. She dumped the loot then made a scoot to her next destination, the Phoenix Zoo... The pics will take you on her journey...Here she is in her bunny costume; that's what she finally decided to be for Halloween. I waited until the last minute to put her costume together(yes, i'm a procrastinator), and was PMSing to boot(yeah, i know... yikes! too much info, maybe?), so I was a bit frazzled and rushing around trying to get it put together... but then Michael saved the day... he helped bring the costume together. Here's our little bunny...

The tail was a little flat, but it did the job.

"What's up, Doc?"

This was Caitie's first time going door to door trick-or-treating. She really enjoyed it. I was able to get a few pics of her ringing the doorbell at someone's door; there were other kids doing it at the other houses we went to and she would just wait in line to get her candy, so I was glad when I had the opportunity to get these pics, even though they're pretty blurry. Here she is heading to the door...

ringing the doorbell... twice... ha ...
waiting patiently for a tasty treat.

After going up and down a street in our neighborhood, we headed to the Phoenix Zoo; they were having a 'Howl-O-Ween' event. We rode a 'Spooky Train', went down the trick-or-treat trail, guessed what some icky feeling stuff was, rode the "Scare"ousel a couple of times, walked through a Pirates of the Carribean attraction three times(caitie loved this attraction), and saw the headless horseman twice, of which I tried to get a picture, but it just wouldn't come out... talk about spoooooky! It was a fun evening.
