FYI --- E-Mail Mishap & Facebook Requests

If you sent me an e-mail recently, you may want to try sending it again. We have a system here at the Potter House where we use virtual machines to do all things associated with the Internet, and one of the options with the set-up is to either save all changes made during a session or delete all changes; the reason this option exists is so we can control what information is stored on our virtual machines. If, for instance, a computer virus invades a virtual machine during a session, all we have to do is choose 'delete changes' for that session when logging out of a virtual machine, this way the virus disappears and isn't saved on the virtual machine. This comes in handy, but it can be a pain at times due to causing the loss of information that we would like to have kept, such as e-mail that is received during a session; this is what just happened to me when I decided to 'delete changes' instead of 'saving changes' this time. *phew* I know that was a lot of info to take in, but that's the only way I know of to explain why all e-mail sent to me recently has now vanished. Sorry 'bout that, y'all.

Also, I've been receiving quite a few requests to create a Facebook page, and I've also received friend requests for the 'Caitie' Facebook page. I don't know how anyone can find me on Caitie's Facebook page since I used Caitie's first and middle names for that page, not my own, but then I don't have a clue as to how Facebook works, so my not knowing how I can be found isn't sayin' much; I'm guessing the page is found via e-mail address. I created that page a year ago, I believe, in order to sign on to a blogger's Facebook page to wish his daughter a happy birthday; it was asked of all his blog followers. I couldn't figure out how to use Facebook at the time, so I didn't get to particpate in her birthday wishes, I haven't been there since, until now. I deactived the account since I don't have a clue how to use it, and I don't plan to create another Facebook page since I don't have the time to keep up with one, keeping up with a blog takes enough time as it is. Just thought I would let y'all know so you don't think I'm trying to avoid any of you. (how many times can a person use facebook in a paragraph? yikes.)

I thought I should add a pic so this isn't such a blah post. This pic of Holly-Hoo depicts how I feel about the deleting of e-mail mishap and my Facebook ignorance.

Thanks for reading, now back to your regularly scheduled lives... or somethin' like that.
