Morning sickness and other interesting info
Has anyone else out there experienced 'morning sickness'? If so, did it turn into afternoon, evening, and late night sickness as well? I had 'morning sickness'(whoever thought of this term was way off) when I was pregnant with Caitie, but it didn't compare to what I experienced this time. I threw up maybe two or three times when pregnant with Caitie, this time around I threw up too many times to count. And let me tell ya, I don't like throwing up, never have, so I was pretty much incapacitated, for lack of a better term. That, being really tired, and having a cold during that time, kept me in bed for a good part of the last couple of months. What else does one do when in bed but watch TV? I don't think I can handle ever watching TV again. Have you noticed how flippin' long commercial breaks are?!? And how most commercials are so very annoying? The music is so flippin' loud, the content is pretty much stupid, and they usually do the opposite of what they're intended to do for the viewing audience, they turn me off to their product. And let's not get into the lack of good programming on most channels. I mostly watched the Food Network channel, which probably sounds strange since I had 'morning sickness', but the food prep and challenges with food that I watched didn't affect that.(can you tell that i now detest most anything to do with tv?) While I lounged(ha) around in bed, Michael became a short-order cook; he made breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner, and then more snacks if needed through the night. He's a good cook, by the way. Enough self-pity for now... here's more info...We have a couple of names picked out, but we're not sure which one to go with, and we plan to give it more thought. If we decide to use what we have now, her name will be Bailey Lynn. Lynn is my dad's middle name; it's mine too, but the reason we're using it is so she'll be named after my dad. As you probably know, he passed on this last December. My due date is August 8th; I'm between 16 and 17 weeks right now. I found out I was pregnant at the end of November by using a home pregnancy test. I then went to the fertility center I had used before to have a blood test, which they comfirmed that I was pregnant. We didn't use the fertility center this time to get pregnant, we had given up on it and then became pregnant on our own. I now have an obgyn.Pregnant mama and Caitie... (michael captured this pic)
