Two Years & Twenty Two Days

This is called the 222 post: two years (2) and twenty two (22) days is how old the blog is today... get it? So clever... or not. I'm late on posting the two-year blog anniversary, it actually occurred on January 10th, but it totally escaped me, so it's late this year. But no biggie, I am a procrastinator and late to most everything, so it seems appropriate.

I didn't make many changes from the first year of the blog going into the second year, but I did try a couple of things, of which I have now discontinued. One was my "Thursday's Tip" posts. I had very few tips to offer it seems, so that one didn't last long. Another thing I added was a watermark to my pics; I started doing this late last summer. I decided to put a watermark, which was the blog url put on each pic, to ensure that if any unknown person wanted to copy one of my pics, they wouldn't be able to claim it as theirs. I read that some bloggers have had this problem, so wanted to be cautious. But after having a blog break for most of December, when I did go back to posting again, I forgot to use it on my pics, and when I did remember to use it, I decided to only use it on 'photo shoots' I do of Caitie, other pics aren't as big a deal; this is why you haven't seen the watermark on my pics lately. Other than those two things, I don't think the blog has changed all that much. I guess there is one other change, but not a planned one, it has more to do with how my writing style has changed since the beginning. I'm not as much into the blog now as I was back then, and most likely my writing reflects that. Maybe that will change at some point. Anyhoo... it's time to head into year three... or actually continue with year three since I'm already into year three... or somethin' like that. I'll be checking into Writing/English 101 just as soon as I'm done with this post. (are you still reading this?!? i'm not, obviously; i need help)

Here is a collage of some of my favorite pics I took of Caitie during the second year.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my day to day, or every few days, ramblings. :)
