Bailey turned six months on Sunday and had her six month check-up yesterday with Dr. M. She's 30 percentile in weight and 90 percentile in length; she's long and lean. She's rolling over all the time now, and gets on her knees and scoots forward; not sure if she'll be doing the military crawl soon like Caitie did, or crawl on all fours. I started her on rice cereal today (i started caitie at four months, but decided to wait and start bailey at six months; the doctor said anytime between four and six months is okay), but it didn't go so well, she was really hungry when I tried giving it to her and she would have nothing to do with it; she wanted something familiar, which was her bottle. I'll try again tonight and be sure to prepare it before she gets hungry/fussy. She's been a bit cranky since getting her immunizations yesterday; she got three shots this time. I didn't think she was going to cry at first, but after the second shot, the tears started falling; she didn't cry for long though. She did really well considering. She got two shots in her left leg and one in her right leg. She took the band-aid off of her left thigh when we got home; she seemed to be drawn to the sparkles. That's what she's holding in her hands, the other one is still on her leg, as you can see in the pic below. (i took the first three pics yesterday after her doctor's appointment.)...
Her eyes look a bit swollen in this pic, and the pic below it as well. This is due to her having a cold again, poor thing. She had a cold the last time I took her to the doctor; this is her second cold. If I remember correctly, Caitie didn't have her first cold until she was over a year old. Caitie's had a lot of colds since she started school, which have been passed on to either Michael, myself or Bailey.
I took the following pics a couple of weeks ago....

Bouncin' Baby Bailey... she loves the bouncy. Caitie loved it too. It's still in really good shape.
