*tap, tap* Anyone there? You still with me? Get back here, Michael!
All kidding aside... I was kidding, wasn't I? A gift a day doesn't sound so bad, but I digress. Enough bein' silly. Love is what makes an imperfect world go round, without it, there would be no reason to be here. I'll be doing another post on what love is all about, so stay tuned for that. Until then, if you're still reading this, and have the time, take a look at some pics I took on and after Valentine's Day; I took the usual 'gifts received' pics and added a couple of pics of Caitie with bags of school valentines...
Here are the valentines she took to school; we made them the night before. Each student was asked to bring a valentine and candy for all the kids in the class; there are 27 kids. We got cute animal valentine cards that Caitie signed and folded, and I taped valentine candy to each card; I used double-sided tape for this. I highly recommend it; awesome stuff! Some had Sweetheart candy, and some had Sweet Tarts Hearts candy. We put them in a cute, bright pink lunch-size bag.

I took this pic before we headed to school.

I took this pic when I picked her up from school. This is the spot I take most of her 'school event' pics at. I was thinking about taking my camera into the classroom when dropping her off, which I've done on a couple of occasions, but didn't do so this time. I wish I had, as soon as we walked into her classroom, a boy named Jackson screamed out Caitie's name, then he grabbed her, gave her a bear hug, lifted her off the ground and began spinning her around, and around, and around... Caitie had a sheepish grin on her face the whole time. I think he kinda likes Caitie. They look cute together, they're both blue-eyed and blonde.

Here's her valentine loot.

And even more valentine loot... not from school though, this was courtesy of her ol' mama and daddy. Michael and I picked out some things, those being, all the stuffed animals you see here, the small heart-shaped box of candy, and the miniature box of candy, heart stamps, and Zhu, Zhu Princess Nintendo DSi game. Michael then surprised her with even more stuff... he got her the big heart-shaped box of candy, the flowers in the cute milk-jug shaped vase that says 'hug me' on it, the kitten valentine card, and, oh my... I now see that one item wasn't included in this pic... there was so much stuff, and it was given to her the day before, but I didn't get decent pics of the items until yesterday, so when putting everything on the table, a cute puppy dog with hearts on it wasn't included. That was one of Caitie's favorite gifts. Dratz! I'll have to take a pic of her with it and include it in an upcoming post.

And here's my valentine loot. Michael goes all out. The Whitman's candy in the yellow box was a gift to both of us (me & michael). We picked it up the day before when we were getting some of Caitie's valentine stuff; the same with the Russel Stover mini box of candy. But the rest of the stuff was a surprise. Michael is such a sweetie. :)

We didn't forget about Bailey. There isn't much you can get a baby for Valentine's Day... no candy, she wouldn't care anything about flowers, except to put them in her mouth, and she's too young for jewelry, so that leaves a cute little stuffed animal. We made a special trip to Babies R Us to get her this cute bear rattle.

Where's Michael stuff, you ask? Well, he did get a Hallmark e-card from me. Yep, he surely did; lucky guy. Anything tangible... um, nope. Valentine's Day is more of a female holiday... sorry, guys, but that's just how it is. But I did offer to go to Fry's Electronics to let him pick something out, but he declined. So romantic, I know, but that's what he would have wanted... something computer or electronic related, that's just how he is.

And that, my bloggy readers, is what Valentine's Day was like for us; I hope you had a loving and wonderful day as well. :)
