The Scoop on the Poop
We took Bailey to the doctor's office today to find out what to do about her poopin' problem. We've been there three or four times already in the last month, but had to go back due to the problem not clearing up. Her doc put a suppository in while we were there, and told me to not be afraid to push it in as far as it could go, no matter the resistance; I have yet to do this, I'm not thrilled with pushing past a place I'm not comfortable with, but it has to be done. We also asked about her grinding her teeth; the doc said it was okay and not to worry about it. He said most likely someone in the family was a teeth grinder and that's where she gets it from. I have no idea who that would be. I had her scheduled for her one year visit in mid august, but the doc said we could go ahead and do that today. So she got four immunization shots, two in her left leg and one in each arm... ouch! Poor thing. Her measurements were taken... she's in the 90th percentile for length, 25 percentile for weight and head measurement. She's right on track comparing with previous measurements; she's long and lean. We're to schedule an appointment with a gastrologist at Phoenix Children's Hospital to see why Bailey won't take things in her mouth, which has to do with her not eating. Hopefully we can get that resolved soon. I'll write more about that in another post.I got a quick pic of Bailey when we got home. See the three band-aids? I hope she gets to feelin' better soon.
