A few pics from Valentine's Day...
And a pic from a couple of nights before... Here Caitie is preparing her Valentine cards for her classmates; she had to have them turned in the day before Valentine's Day so they were ready to go when class started on Valentine's Day. We attached a heart shaped sucker to each card.

Valentine's Day morning I made a heart shaped sandwich to put in Caitie's lunch. This is the bread before I put the mayo, meat, and cheese on it, of course. I found a heart shape print-out on the internet, printed it out on plain white paper, and it put over the bread and then cut around it with a knife. I don't have a heart-shape cookie cutter, so this was the best I could do.

I then took red heart-shaped candy off of a cute bear Michael and I got Caitie for Valentine's Day and put them in her lunch as well; I printed out a graphic I found online of a cute bear with a heart basket onto white heart-shaped paper and taped it on the baggie.

I then made Caitie some heart-shaped toast with jelly on it for breakfast. The bear I got the heart-shaped candy from was waiting for her in her carseat; she got it on the way to school.

Here's what Bailey wore for Valentine's Day.

Before picking Caitie up from school, I put cute puppy and elephant stuffed animals on their favorite dinosaur... the puppy was for Caitie, the elephant was for Bailey. There was a balloon for each of them as well, and a heart-shaped box of candy for Caitie (do you see it? look closely, the dinosaur is eatin' it. ha). We surprised them with the stuff when Michael got home from work.

Here is Caitie with the cute bear I surprised her with that morning.

Here's Caitie's Valentine loot. She got a lot of cards and candy from her classmates. They had a Valentine party in her afternoon class.
Bailey's happy for her big sister... and is hoping her big sister will share some of the yummy treats.

There's not a lot to this post, I just wanted to have it on the blog so I could remember what the girls' Valentine's Day was like this year, and to also show off my talent for making heart-shaped bread... um, yeah...
