I took Bailey to her 18 month appointment yesterday; she turned 18 months on January 30th. She's 90th percentile in height and 25th percentile in weight; she's still long and lean. She got one immunization shot. The doc said she's doing good. Caitie came along since she was out of school for Presidents' Day. We went to the park afterwards. Here are a few pics... I brought along my 40D, but the battery went out after I took a couple of pics, so I got out my point and shoot camera and got these...
If you look close you can see that Caitie's recording with the Flip recorder while her and Bailey are coming down the curvy slide; and I just had to get a pic, of course.
Can anyone out there do this with their legs? Ouch! It's Bendable Buddy Bailey... ha... :) She's becoming quite the contortionist.
I took the two pics below after having put a charged battery in my 40D last night; we were getting ready for bed. I just had to get the ol' 'band-aid over the immunization shot on the thigh' pic. I take this kind of pic every time an immunization shot is given. Call me crazy. No, really, go ahead... I can't hear ya anyway. Told ya I was crazy.
Gotta love the pink camouflage band-aid; as far as the socks... they are now a sand color. Bailey's shoes were full of sand from the park. Just didn't want you to think all her whites are this dingy. Well, some are... um, yeah... movin' on now...
Here's a short video clip (around one minute and 47 seconds, i believe) of us at the park. Did Caitie do some recording with the Flip recorder when her and Bailey went down the curvy slide? (the slide pic above might be a giveaway. um, yeah). Did I actually say "I'm tired, man" when done sliding down the curvy slide? Did I actually say it was around noon, a little after, and then add right after that that it was between noon and one? As if you couldn't figure out what time it was by the aforementioned "it's around noon, a little after"? (that's if you can hear me at all... i kinda mumble) Did I take pics at the same time I was recording with the Flip recorder? Did Bailey actually say "Bye, Bye" to the playground instead of the Flip recorder while on the swing? You'll have to watch and see.. Oh, the anticipation...
