It may not be shown in a bouquet of roses, but instead in the bud of a weed...
or in the weed itself...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and these weeds are beautiful flowers to my daughter, and she wanted to share their beauty with me. She often gives me 'flowers' from orleanders, lantanas, and as mentioned... weeds. This is a way for her to express her love for me (it could also be a way for her to distract me from getting on to her about something or other, but let's not go there in this post, it kinda ruins the flow of the message i'm tryin' to send here... of which i probably just did, but oh well... movin' on now...)
It could also come in the form of a service bein' done for you... here is my crew sprucin' up the ol' truck for me, which is the vehicle I use most (michael drives the jag a lot now). Love a clean, shiny truck.
It can also be shown to our dear, sweet pets. Here Bailey is showin' her love for Molly-Mae, one of our sweet cats... she's on meds now and is lovin' all the attention that comes her way.
There are so many ways to show our love for each other... not just today, but every day. :)
