The holiday came and went

I wasn't much into the holiday season this year. With the passing of my dad, it was difficult to focus on much of anything. But we did do the typical things like put up a Christmas tree and get the necessary gifts. We passed on the polar express train ride and the zoo lights. We had a quiet night at home on New Year's Eve. I didn't take many pics, but here are a few of the ones I did take...

Michael's mom went into the hospital on Christmas Eve for an appendectomy. She was there until the day after Christmas. I took this pic of Caitie with her grandma's get-well bear and flowers in the hospital lobby on Christmas Eve. His mom has recovered from surgery and is doing well.

Michael took the tree down the day after New Year's. It was a pretty tree. He took down the outside lights and wreaths as well.
