This week was 'Teacher Appreciation Week', and Tuesday, May 3, was 'Teacher Appreciation Day'. So I made a couple of cards, or more like certificates, for Caitie's teachers, Mrs. Tammy and Mrs. Renae. I also included a big Hershey bar for each teacher along with some cold, hard cash wrapped in pretty pink ribbons. The gifts were put into brightly colored gift bags. I go all out. Caitie took the cards/gifts to her teachers on Tuesday. I planned on doing something for her teachers before the end of the school year, and decided this was the best time to do it instead of waiting until the last day of school.
Here are pics of the brightly colored gifts. (love a good rhyme)
We ran late that day, but I still asked Caitie to pose for a quick pic outside the school building before heading to class. (i know, i know, i'm supposed to let caitie be pose-free these days, but oh well)

Caitie wrote her teachers names to go on each bag.

Take a look inside, you can see the 'certificates' and not much else. Doesn't look like much...

but if you look really hard in the pic below, you can see the curled up money with the pink ribbon on it, along with a big Hershey's candy bar in the red bag; the same thing was in the green bag. I didn't want you to think I jipped one of the teachers out of that part of the gift. Nopesiree, not me... I made sure both teachers got the same things; I like to treat them like twins. The cards/certificates were a bit different, and the bags were different colors, so the gifts weren't identical, I guess they were sorta fraternal, or somethin' like that... um, yeah...
