Blog Break

Here are the last of July's pics; starting in August I'll be posting pics at PBase again. The home pics were taken with my Canon 40D, and the 'out and about' pics were taken with my Canon Powershot camera.

Caitie is sneaking a sip of my tea. We had dinner at Black Angus. There weren't many people there, we had the back part of the restaurant all to ourselves; that seemed a little odd to me. The next day I did a search on Google to see if there had been any recent health code violations at that particular restaurant; you can never be too careful, right? Not that it would have done us any good at that point, we had already consumed the food. ha

I didn't tell her the candle is battery operated; she was really blowin' on that thing. ha

In a feisty mood...

In a loving mood.

Puttin' the ol' shades on before headin' out to go furniture shoppin'.

As soon as she saw this 'baseball' chair, she insisted on trying it out. Just in case you're wondering, she didn't win the 'can we take it home?' argument on this item. ha

She loves bunkbeds; she likes to climb and be up high.

She spotted a deflating white balloon as we were walking through the store, as soon as she said she wanted it, a salesman came over and gave her this blue one. She was delighted, to say the least. That kept her busy the whole time we were there.

This is another furniture store. Like the desk? Michael does. I told you he has expensive tastes. ha The store has a few 'ride-on cars', of which Caitie wanted to try them all out. She started off with a yellow one, then rode in this green one, and then spotted a red one, which had a little girl in it, but Caitie didn't care, she insisted on riding in it. When she found out she couldn't, she cried and threw a tantrum. That was just the beginning... when we got to the children's section, she saw a stuffed animal moose head(yes, you read that right, it was a moose head to hang on a wall. i don't want to think about it either, let's move on, shall we?...) Anyway, as I was saying, Caitie wanted the moose head, mostly because a little girl was playing with it. When we told her she couldn't play with it, she threw another tantrum; we had to leave the store this time. It wasn't a pretty sight.

All was better by the time we got to the grocery store. Another ride-on car... Yippee! :) It's attached to the front of the shopping cart. I pushed the cart most of the time, and did hit a couple of people. Did you know these little cars aren't insured? (are you still reading this?!? i'm not, it's getting a little too weird for me. i have no idea what i'm writing right now. are you still reading this?!?)

Still enjoying the blue balloon.
