This was taken at Lowe's. Yes, we spend a lot of time there, and Home Depot as well. We're thinking about redoing the flooring on the first floor, all in 18" ceramic tile. This makes the third, no wait, fourth, no... ummm... too many times to count, that we've done the flooring on the first floor. We'll get it right eventually... I hope. Caitie found this wheelbarrow in the garden department and wanted to take it home. When we told her she couldn't, she had a fit. We need to work on that. Anyway, on this particular night, a thunderstorm passed through, of which we got caught in the middle of it when the store closed and we had to make our way to the SUV; the rain was pouring down in buckets, the parking lot was already flooded, and it had only been raining a short while. Michael offered to go get the truck and pick me and Caitie up by the door, but I chose to run through the rain, carrying Caitie, not paying attention to the thunder and lightning going on not too far off; not the brightest decision I've ever made. We were soaked by the time we got to the truck. But all was well, and it was actually fun. I love the monsoon season.
This was taken the morning after our water slide fun. I would have given her a bath the night before, but she was conked out by the time we got home. The stench from being in that 'dirty' water was almost unbearable; I couldn't wait to get her all lathered up and smelling good again.

We went to Arrowhead Mall later that day. Caitie spots all balloons; she loves 'em.
We headed to IHOP for a late-night breakfast. Yum! Caitie and her daddy love to goof off in restaurants, which makes for good photo ops. :) They're playing the 'knock the bowl off of daddy's head' game in this pic. (that's what i decided to call it, anyway. ha)
