Pizza Fun and a Big, Black, Red-Eyed Spider

If that post title isn't an attention grabber, I don't know what is. ha We went to Costco and then Peter Piper Pizza this evening. While walking through Costco, this huge, black, hairy, creepy, yet adorable spider caught my attention, and as soon as I pointed it out to Caitie, she wanted to give it a hug. She even went back for seconds; she couldn't get enough. I tried to talk her daddy into buying it, but he never did say yes or no, he just gave me that look, the one that means I must be out of my mind and let's drop it... yep, that's exactly how I took it. I have no doubt that I was right. ha

Trying to decide if she should go with Daddy or stay with the cute, cuddly spider.

It looks like she picked the cute, cuddly spider.

I don't think anyone could pry her away from that spider.

She still hasn't let go...

ummm... Nope, not yet... she's still hangin' on.

Starting to give in a little...

Finally decides to go with Dad, but she still hasn't let go of the spider. Goodbyes are never easy.

This was our second trip to Peter Piper Pizza, we went last night as well. Caitie fell in love with a brown horse on the mini carousel. When we left last night, we went for a drive to see if she would go to sleep, but all we heard from the time we left the pizza place, which is on Bell Road, not too far from Loop 101, that's where the main part of the drive was, all the way to McDowell, and then back up to Bell was, "I want my brown horsey". She repeated this same phrase over and over and over and over and over again, nonstop, but then finally went to sleep, dreaming of her brown horsey, no doubt. She then mentioned it upon waking this morning. Talk about obsessed! How could we refuse her the pleasure of riding her favorite horse again? It also gave us another chance to play "Deal or No Deal", like the show on TV. We didn't do so good last night, but tonight we hit the jackpot... 200 points! If it had been up to me, we would have walked off with the deal that was offered, which was 100 points, I believe. But Michael stuck it out and won big. He was so excited... seriously! I think he's becoming addicted to that game just as much as Caitie has become addicted to her brown horsey. I must admit, I'm becoming addicted to the basketball toss; such an easy way to get 'tickets'. Tickets are used to purchase prizes. Anyway, if you're still reading this... why you would be, I haven't a clue, but if you are... Congratulations! You just won... ummm... hmmm... Oh dear, that place is starting to grow on me too.

This is the only decent(ha) pic I got at Peter Piper Pizza, and I took plenty! Will someone please show me how to use this thing?!? Will I ever get the hang of this camera?

Here she is with her brown horsey.
