Park, ducks, t-ball, debate

This describes Wednesday afternoon and evening. Caitie and I spent most of the afternoon outdoors. I always know when Caitie has a hankerin' for the park, she comes up to me and says, "mama, you're a good driver", and then gives me a killer smile. This is her code phrase and expression for 'take me to the park, please'. How can I resist? There are times that I do resist(but, boy is it hard), but most of the time I give in. After playing at the park for a while, we headed over to the nearby lake, which is just across the street; Caitie wanted to see the ducks. The ducks thought we had food, which we usually do, but this time we didn't, but they followed us anyway. Knowing we had no food for the ducks, Caitie tried to escape, leaving me in the dust, and in the path of the oncoming ducks. I wasn't about to get bitten or pecked to death, so I started to run as well. After our lovely visit with the hungry ducks, we came home and played out back. Caitie was in the mood for t-ball, so we played for a bit. Then it was time to prepare for the last presidential debate. I had to call and place an order for pizza, pop the popcorn, find our noisemakers from the last debate, and get my camera in place(i was actually interested in this debate, unlike the other two presidential debates that practically put me to sleep(ha), so i didn't get any good debate pics this time). I think this last debate was the best one. Bob Schieffer should have been the moderator for all three presidential debates, in my opinion. As far as 'Joe the Plumber' goes... enough already! You've had your fifteen minutes of fame. Then again, his publicity may help the McCain Campaign, and that's a good thing, so I will no longer complain. You go, Joe!

The pic above and the pics below are from Wednesday afternoon...
