Meaning... I just now got around to taking pics of Caitie in this spring/summer dress. It being yellow and cheery makes me think of summertime. I got the dress last spring and planned on it being Caitie's Easter dress, but found another dress I liked better; so this dress has been hanging in her closet for the last several months.
Yes, I let her play in it... outside! She will soon outgrow it and it's past the season it was meant for, so what does it matter if it gets a little dirty? That's what I kept telling myself while Caitie was running and rolling around the yard, and playing on her slide. I had to convince myself that her tomboyish ways was OK while wearing this pretty yellow dress. I wouldn't even attempt at getting pics of her on the kitchen table like I usually do, she doesn't want to pose for pics anymore... not.at.all! I guess I'll have to stick to candid shots.
