Has it been a year already?

At exactly 5:12pm a year ago on this day(which was on a Thursday last year, and is on a Saturday this year, thanks to Leap Year last year... got that?), I started this blog. I don't have time to put everything I would like to on here and also get it posted by 5:12pm today(i want it to be posted on the one year mark exactly), so I'm just putting a quick note on here and will add more stuff later on this evening... so stay tuned... Yikes! I better click that 'Publish Post' button... it's 5:12pm!!!

I'm back to continue the One Year Anniversary Celebration...

Caitie's excited...



I'm not sure if it's the blog anniversary she's excited about, or the Cardinals' winning tonight's game and heading to the NFC Championship Game. Either way, it's time to celebrate!



I decided we would go to Macayo's Restaurant to celebrate the blog's anniversary. We, of course, took our trusty, mini-laptop. We were celebrating the blog, so I wanted it there with us. Yes, my dear friends, I am in need of some serious psychological therapy.

Before heading out to dinner, Caitie wanted to get a pic of the blog owner, that would be me. I was more than happy to pose for a pic or two. I decided to get pics of her getting a pic of me.



I then realized that she was just getting set up to take a picture of the moon, I was just a practice shot. After dealing with my bruised ego, I decided to take a pic of the moon too, and here it is. Gotta love a full moon.

Anyway, moving on to more blog anniversary stuff...

I was going to list all of my favorite pics and posts from the last year, but decided to narrow them down and ended up with three favorite posts, and three favorite pics. Here are my top picks:

It's a tie for favorite post. I chose both Windy Wednesday and More on Father's Day. I'm throwing in a third post, but mainly for the video that I included in the post: The Perfect Puddle.

Since I listed three for favorite post, I'll do the same for pics. This was hard, there are so many pics to choose from, but I chose these three:

I added pics of all the blog banners I used over the last year. They're in reverse chronological order(newest on top, oldest at the bottom). I may have missed a couple, I'm not sure.

I've learned something over the last year... I need to change my blogging time. I tend to blog late at night, when everyone else is snug in bed. Blogging so late at night seems to bring about misspellings, lousy grammar, and sometimes incoherent posts. ha I need to schedule a more decent time to do my blogging. Yes, I must work on this. We'll see how it goes. Most likley I'll still be blogging at the midnight hour, just as I'm doing now.

On a final note... Remember the post where I mentioned some of the cute things Caitie says? Here's what I heard this morning when undressing and heading to the shower... "That's a really big butt, mama!" ummm... hmmm... uhhh... No comment.
