Here Michael is assisting Bailey with her first time down the slide; her expression says it all... "is this all ya got?", making it seem as if this puny slide was a piece of cake... bring on the big one! Too cute.

Here are my two mostly in the buff gals with their daddy. The discussion went from talking about Bailey wanting a bigger slide to Caitie wanting more webs removed from the climbing contraption.

I told you it was a lazy day.

With evening fast approaching, we decided to barbecue some steaks for dinner... yum! Here's Bailey looking my way as I snap her pic, she then began watching her daddy fire up the ol' charcoal, not knowing what was in store.

I wanted to try the charcoal side of the grill, and Michael obliged. We had been meaning to try it for a while, but hadn't got 'round to it until then. I couldn't believe how much smoke there was; it became unbearable, so I grabbed Bailey, and told Caitie it was time to get inside. We all smelled like smoke, and the only way to get rid of it was by taking showers; there went our lovely, lazy afternoon... the evening was now filled with the sound of running water and the disapproval of having to have hair washed in order to get rid of the strong smoke smell. After all were clean and smelling good, we chowed down on the tasty steaks, corn, and mashed potatoes; it was delish! We then went to our nearby Dairy Queen for dessert and ordered blizzards in the flavor of the month: Pumpkin Pie. It was a pleasant and relaxing day that ended with cool showers, good food, and a tasty treat; what a way to bring in the new season... it's one I won't forget. It seems the simple things in life can sometimes be the most memorable; I like that.
