Sharing

Even though Caitie is now five years old, she still likes to play around with baby toys. When in the toy section of a store, some of the first toys she looks at are baby toys. I don't know when she'll outgrow them, but even though she's still drawn to them, she's not stingy with them. She likes to share her old baby toys with Bailey; she likes to show Bailey how they work, which gives her an excuse to be playing with them. Of course, she also likes toys appropriate for her age, but she has a special fondness for baby toys. Maybe this is a sign that she'll always remain a 'kid at heart'; if only we could all be so lucky.

Here's Bailey bouncing around in Caitie's old bouncy. Caitie was telling her how much fun she had in it and was giving her pointers on how to push off the floor with her toes to go higher and faster.



This isn't a baby toy, but I thought it was cute how Caitie was writing and drawing a 'card' for Bailey, so I took a pic of her while she was making it. She put quite a few X's and O's for hugs and kisses. She mentions on occasion about how much she likes Bailey; and she's even thanked me a few times for making her a baby. Hey, no problem, kiddo, I'm pretty fond of her myself. :)
