Nineteen Years

We usually spend our anniversary in Payson. That's where we eloped back in '89, but we weren't able to go due to Caitie coming down with a cold on Sunday. We plan on going this coming weekend. We're hoping to see some snow; Caitie is looking forward to playing in the snow again.

Happy Anniversary to a great guy! Has it really been 19 years? It seems more like 30. I don't mean that in a negative way, we've known each other since we were kids, so it seems we've been together forever. Since Caitie isn't feeling well, and we most likely won't be going out, here's what our plans look like for this evening... we'll put Caitie to bed early, it won't be easy, but we'll give it a try, then one of us will flick the ol' remote control and get the fake fire in the fireplace goin', while the other puts on a Josh Groban CD, we'll enjoy the romantic ambiance for a couple of minutes, then head out to the garage and flip on one of the monster projectors and watch an action-packed movie on the garage wall... oh, and, let's not forget the microwave popcorn! That's about as romantic as we get. ha

This was Caitie on Sunday night, resting on the couch and watching cartoons. She had a runny nose, was sneezing and coughing a bit, had a low-grade fever, and seemed pretty tired.

Here she was yesterday morning. She still wasn't feeling well. She had a runny nose, was sneezing and coughing a bit, had a low-grade fever, pretty much the same way she felt on Sunday night, but she didn't seem as tired, so she played a bit.

This was taken yesterday afternoon; she still wasn't feeling well. She ended up going to bed early, but woke up and stayed up most of the night, and is sleeping now. Poor thing.
