No to monster, yes to shrimp
We passed on watching a movie, using the monster projector, in the garage last night, which, by the way, gives a new meaning to 'drive-in movies', wouldn't you say? ummm... Anyway, back to the topic... Caitie was feeling much better yesterday, so we decided to go to Red Lobster for dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. We had everything shrimp: shrimp cocktail, shrimp scampi, shrimp linguini alfredo... shrimp, shrimp, shrimp... we also had clam chowder, steak and seafood-stuffed flounder, with side salads, cheese biscuits, and baked potatoes with butter and sour cream. We didn't have room for dessert, but I made it just fine with a tall, and I mean a TALL piña colada; it was sweet and tasty. Michael had his usual, beer, it came in a bottle with a chilled glass; the tap was broke, or he would have had it on tap. Caitie splurged and had white milk; she usually has chocolate milk. Michael got me some Christmas music cd's and a really nice lens for my camera. He always knows what to get me. I let him pick out his gift, which was tools from Home Depot; so romantic. We had a nice evening. There will be more celebrating this coming weekend, up in Payson and the Mogollon Rim.
A 'beary' cute dress, don't you think? She wore this to dinner.
Enjoying dinner at Red Lobster.
The pics below were taken with my new camera lens. I don't usually take my Canon 40D to restaurants, but I decided to this time. I'm glad I did since Michael got me a new lens; it was a good time to try it out. I took the above pics before I opened my gifts.
Here's my TALL piña colada, which only shows part of it, btw. So yummy!
I can always tell when dinner has been a hit, Michael looks relaxed and lets out a good, healthy belch, which he's in the process of doing in this pic.
Putting Caitie into her carseat, or trying to, anyway; she wanted to sit in "mama's seat", as she calls it. She was putting on the seatbelt. She doesn't like to sit in her carseat much anymore.
